Worm gear, screw
- Code product: TD17
- Manufacture: TNGEC
Description Information
A gear is a rotating mechanical part, in the form of a cylindrical or tapered block, surrounded by cut teeth that can mesh with the teeth of another toothed part to transmit torque.
Gears can transmit motion between parallel, perpendicular or diagonal axes. They have a direct impact on the transmission, fast or slow speed distribution of the engine.
Products are manufactured to order with a diameter of 2,500mm.
Material grade: Gears are made of materials depending on their working conditions, such as load to be subjected to, force or stress to be subjected to, wear, duty cycle, etc.
For conventional gears, the material of choice is usually chromium alloy steel such as 15Cr, 15CrA, 40Cr, 45Cr or chromium-nickel and chromium-molybdenum such as 40CrNi, 35CrMoA, 18CrMnTi.
For medium and small load bearing gears made of high quality carbon steel such as C40, C45 and cast iron.
